God is everything ... and nothing

"In the beginning was the Word, and the word was with God, and the Word was God.
"He was in the beginning with God.
"All things came into being by Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being."
John 1:1-3.

In the beginning, there was nothing but God. All that came into being was from God because it was God. No other source exists. All that is, is an aspect of God. In the beginning was "an infinitesimally small point in which all physical laws that we know of do not apply". Big Bang Theory. The infinitesimally small point was so small it can not be measured. As such, the point is nothing. Yet from the point comes everything.

"He [God] stretches out the north over empty space, And hangs the earth on nothing." Job 26:7. Everything comes from nothing.

"The disciples said to Jesus, 'Tell us, how will our end come?' Jesus said, 'Have you found the beginning, then, that you are looking for the end? You see, the end will be where the beginning is.'" Gospel of Thomas, Logion 18. Jesus said, "I am the alpha and the omega" (the beginning and end).

In the beginning is nothing. In the end will be nothing. See The Big Crunch. Which means all of creation is a closed loop with the beginning and the end one in the same--that unmeasurable, unknowable nothing called God.

Existence is not possible outside of God. Evil is merely ignorance or lack of knowledge of this fact.

Q. Where did the "materials" that initiated the Big Bang come from?

Proposed response. An infinitely small point of light. Unmeasurably small though containing all protomaterial for the entire universe. Incomprehensible or, said another way, Unknowable. The Gnostic god is unknowable. Perhaps they are one in the same. Things are measurable so this stuff is Nothing. The magic was the creation of something out out of Nothing. Perhaps a grand illusion. As Albert Eistein put it, "Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one."

Interesting... :)

I agree, God is everything and nothing. It's just how you define God.

Maybe you'll be interested in the following logical explanation of everything.

Fantastic. In the Beginning not even Nothingness could exist because it didn't know its own nature. Not knowing what it was it became possibly Something which forced it to be Everything in order to cover all the possible Somethings it could be.

In most of those somethings a world is born and dies. In fact an infinite number of different worlds are born and then die. However, a small group of these worlds are born but do not die and continue on in Life Everlasting.
